Well I am still doing the Claude Gordon studies and my control in the upper register has become so much easier. I am on chapter 8. I will probably end up spending 2 weeks on it. The studies are very time consuming. About 4-5 hours a day. I hardly have time to do my concert or jazz band pieces. Oh just to let you know. Yesterday I got the news that I am officially 1st chair in the county. My freshman year. So this is pretty cool. I guess now I just got to get better until I'm good enough for states. Oh and a bunch of other stuff like the jazz band tour is going to start and I will probably not have time to truly update the site any time soon. Two cool trumpet songs we are playing for jazz band are Mcarthur Park and Birdland I will try to get them up on the site.
